NBHS DEATH NOTICES

Robert BARNES (1958 leaver)
from John Wingrove(1958 leaver) of death three weeks ago, in Queensland, of Robert BARNES (1958 leaver) Robert had lived in Victoria for many years but relocated to live near his daughter in Queensland. The message said his health had declined off latter days and declined rapidly to his demise.

Robert was indeed, from the 1954 1st Year intake into NBHS and is usually with the old boys for reunions, of the 1958 Leavers   BUT, I also have him firmly in my memory also as a 1959 leaver and that is confirmed for me, ( from NGHS/ NBHS School dances and Sports days) from 1959 reunion, photos,  (held 2009).

He must have repeated somewhere along the line as he is named in those photos and in a little booklet that was printed for that 1959 reunion.

Michael NICHOLS (Class of 1954)
You may not be aware of the passing of Dr Michael Nichols, class of 1954, several months ago.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny, and family.
